Hosts Alan Corkett & Anthea Deane
Programme
This is an introductory family history course for those people starting Family History.

The course will be a mix of tuition, internet research, visits and time for individually supported research. The emphasis is on participation in a supportive and friendly atmosphere within the lovely surroundings of Halsway Manor and the Quantock Hills.

This mid-week course has been planned to coincide with the school February 2008 half-term at Halsway Manor. We aim to encourage and attract guests who would like to find out how to build their own family trees, where to start and where to go next.
There will be opportunities for web access both for tuition and research with support from experienced tutors.
Tutors Delia Horsfall is the Research Centre Manager for the Somerset & Dorset Family History Society and has a wide experience of using many types of research materials.

Anthea Deane who has been researching various family trees for many years, with experience in using a wide range of sources particularly the internet,

Alan Corkett who has been researching his own family since 1969.

Tony Kelly who is a researcher and experienced computer, internet and web site user.
