Your host Pat Morse

Pat is a folk dancer, musician who plays double bass

Alan Corkett organises courses, plays accordion, ‘vamps’ on pianos and encourages all musicians to produce their best efforts. He has long and varied experience of playing for dancing, music workshops, festivals, weddings and recordings. He leads Meltdown Band and plays with Folk 2. Alan is a retired teacher and a director of Halsway Manor Society

Christine Corkett teaches Maypole dances and occasionally calls simple dances. She is a trained teacher who applies her skills to many crafts and has supported Alan on staff for 12 years at his annual Music & Craft course at Halsway Manor in October.

Ted Morse comes from Oxfordshire where he has been calling for adults and children for many years.

He leads a barn dance band on accordion and plays tuba and percussion in folk dance bands. He leads musicians’ days and has led sessions on handbell ringing, long-sword and singing.

He is a former primary head-teacher who now repairs musical instruments.
