Maggie is a qualified teacher from marlow, Bucks and a highly experienced accompanist on the folk dance music scene. She was the pianist in the Blue Mountain Country dance Band for many years and more recently has been freelancing with many top musicians. Her range fo music is wide covering material from the English, Irish, Scottish and American repertoires.
Maggie has performed at most of the large UK folk festivals and abroad. She was one of the many musicians who took part in the successful Millenium Live Music CD recording at the Manor.
Hilary is orignally from Sussex and is also a trained teacher who now works in South Devon introducing music in several schools.
She has a wealth of experience in orchestral and small group playing and as well as regualarly appearing with Autumn Gold Country Dance Band she also leads the Folk Two Duo.
Hilary enjoys playing Scottish, English, Irish and American tunes and usually prefers to stand when playing to give the music more "oomph" and inject more energy.
Hilary has played abroad on many folk dance trips fro demonstration teams in Germany France and was recently invited to perform in Sweden with the Martletts Morris from Sussex.
