Halsway Manor is England's National Centre for Traditional Music, Dance and Song. It is the only residential folk centre in the UK.
Halsway is a Grade 2* listed building and is a wonderful example of a Somerset manor house. It boasts a history going back over a thousand years.
The Manor is situated in south-west England between Minehead and Taunton, on the slopes of the Quantock Hills, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Facilities include a ballroom, library and lounge bar. The Manor stands in its own grounds, with plenty of space for cars.

Open Day Sunday 5th July 2009
This year’s Open Day is a rare opportunity to have a guided tour of this historic manor house which is not normally open to the public.
Visitors will be able to tour the house and gardens and find out about the fascinating history of Halsway which starts with the Domesday Book.
The Open Day starts at 2pm and also features a wide range of craft stalls, dance and music displays from West Somerset Morris Men, Fiddlin’ Folk and school children from Crowcombe and Stogumber Primary Schools.
There will also be a barbecue throughout the afternoon together with cream teas.
The Open Day starts at 2pm and finishes at 5.30pm. Admission is £2 for adults with children coming free.
