Like the rest of the UK, Halsway suffered from "the bug" at the end of December, but our guests for the Christmas House Party did not let that stop them enjoying a relaxed and celebratory Christmas
More than 40 guests gathered at Halsway Manor for the annual five day Christmas House party. The party was this year hosted by Pete and Marj Hendy with music by Joyce and Philip Rowe with David Bradley.
With seasonal pursuits - carolling and a mummers play - as well as music and dance they ensured a Merry Christmas was had by all.
Highspot of Christmas day was the "unexpected" arrival of special guest Father Christmas to distribute presents to all. Walks across the Quantocks helped to ensure that Christmas didn't linger too long around the waistline!
Bookings don't open for House Party 2008 just yet but many of our regular guests have already got the date in their diaries -- 22nd to 27th December 2008
